This product is not recommended for use on questionable surfaces such as new concrete, pre-cast or stamped concrete, weathered or damaged concrete, brick or stone, or pre-cast steps with mortar joints. Using Ace Ice Melter on sub-standard surfaces may exaggerate freezing and thawing cycles and cause damage. To minimize damage, seal the surface prior to application and remove resultant slush in a timely manner. This product is not recommended for melting ice on roofs, gutters, downspouts or decks.
