Flax Snackers have a guaranteed analysis of 5.2% ESC (simple sugars) and 0.1% starch for a total of 5.3%, well below the 10% veterinarian recommendations for horses with Cushing's Disease, Insulin Resistance, Equine Metabolic Syndrome and PSSM. Flax Snackers are dehydrated, not baked, for maximum nutrition retention and long shelf life. Feel good about feeding your horse one of the lowest sugar/starch treats available.
